A central hub for youth participation built by the people the work is for
Hunt for Change is the new home for youth participation in Australia. We connect young people with the opportunities, resources, networks, and training that shape the work affecting them. We also help the people and organisations working alongside them share opportunities, partner, and do youth participation well. No young person left out because they didn't already know where to look.
No accessible entry point.
Opportunities for young people are scattered across fragmented newsletters, social media campaigns, and word-of-mouth. They reach only the young people who are already in the room. The young people who most need to be heard have no way in.
Opportunities that never reach far enough.
People working with young people want to engage beyond the same familiar faces, but reaching wider usually means time, networks, or marketing budget they don't have. Good opportunities stay within the circles that already know about them.
A sector that's losing its future workforce.
Youth participation builds the skills, networks, and confidence that lead into social impact careers. Without an accessible entry point, the sector loses its next generation before it arrives.
What Hunt for Change is.
Hunt for Change brings youth participation into one place: opportunities to get involved, training and resources to build confidence and skills, and the networks that turn a first step into a pathway. For young people, it's a way in. For the people working alongside them, it's a way to reach further and engage well.
- 01
Opportunities, in one place.
Advisory groups, co-design workshops, youth ambassadorships, events, fellowships, surfaced as they open.
- 02
A real entry point.
Young people sign up once, are matched to opportunities that fit, and can engage without needing to already know the social impact sector.
- 03
Backed by structure.
Guided by a steering committee of senior leaders across education, social impact, and youth advocacy, so the platform is grounded, accountable, and built to last.
Different journeys, one connection.
At the core of Hunt for Change is a match. Young people and the opportunities shared by people working with them, paired on lived expertise, skills, and interests rather than who already knows whom. Partners help make it possible.
